Week Before the Diet Started (133 lbs - 60 kg)
Success and nothing short of it is what I am aiming for. My goal is to reach at least 120 lbs (54 kg) by the last day of the diet. The amount of weight you lose on this diet is directly proportional to the amount of weight you have. Being that I already lost 20 lbs last time, this time it makes sense to have realistic expectations and aim for half that amount.
Social Gatherings were the most stressful time on this diet. No alcohol, no snack food, no sides, etc. made it very hard to go to anywhere with friends and family so this time around I told everyone that I was going to take a much needed personal mental break and that I was going to stay home the weekend of the diet. I think telling everyone in advance will be a lot better than having to say no when I’m invited.
Constant Temptation from all the snacks, food and drink I had in my house was another big challenge last time. This time I stopped purchasing groceries and cooked or gave away anything that was perishable. I packed up all the other non-perishables and put them in a closet to serve as a reward when the diet was over.
Meal Planning is what makes this diet work. Last time, I had to constantly take trips to the store because I did not have the all the ingredients at home. This time I made a list and purchased everything in advance to make sure that I did not stress myself out about all the things I was not eating for those two weeks.
Now that I am mentally ready and my kitchen is physically ready I can start this diet and reap the results in 3 weeks. Knowing that this worked before, I can’t wait to get started.
