Day 08 on the Danish Diet

Sun-08 (125 lbs  57 Kg)
Hunger level medium (normal), energy level low (below normal), not cranky, no headache.
The weather is nice today also, but a little colder. A friend asked for my help doing some meal preparation and since I felt lonely yesterday I said yes. We spent the majority of the afternoon measuring seasoned chicken, beef, and shrimp then placing them into plastic bags to be frozen later. This activity took about three hours and looking at all that raw uncooked food did not affect my hunger. On the contrary it gave me energy and cheered me up because the idea of pre-packing food like that for easy dinners came from me.


Today’s meals felt big. On this diet I’ve been a little hungry right after lunch; but not today. I used cherry tomatoes at lunch for color on the salad, I think that made it look happier. For dinner I thought let’s put the meat on a stick, that is always so easy to make and clean up afterwards.  I remember thinking my goodness this is soo much food at dinner time. Maybe my stomach is shrinking. Maybe my body is getting used to having less food and burning all that excess stuff. This could be another secret to this diet, shrink your stomach to keep the weight off.
